Ryan Pedon enters his fourth season in 2020-21 as an assistant coach at Ohio State after joining the staff in June 2017. The Columbus native returned home after spending two seasons as an assistant on Chris Holtmann’s staff at Butler.

In three years at Ohio State, Pedon helped the Buckeyes exceed all expectations, building an overall record of 66-34. The Buckeyes qualified for the NCAA Tournament, reaching the Second Round in each of the two seasons when the event was contested (2018, 2019). Ohio State finished the 2018 season with a 25-9 overall record. The Buckeyes recorded a 15-3 Big Ten Conference regular-season record to help the Buckeyes to a second-place finish in the league standings.
